Welcome to The Village Learning Center Pennington, proudly serving local families for more than 35 years. Nestled between Baldwin State Park and Route 31, our center offers a peaceful, convenient setting less than a mile south of Woosamonsa Road and north of Franklin Road.
Our fully certified teachers use a developmentally appropriate curriculum that balances structure with play, helping children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
We’re a nut-free facility, and our team is trained in allergy awareness to ensure every child’s safety and well-being.

Our extracurricular enrichment activities are offered as a part of the regular program schedule and are unique to each location. They help children develop creativity, coordination, and confidence while keeping every week full of fun.

Nature-Based Learning
Our nature-based learning experiences turn the outdoors into an extension of the classroom, giving children hands-on opportunities to explore, create, and discover. Through open-ended play with natural materials, children strengthen social-emotional skills, fine and gross motor development, and academic foundations in science, math, literacy, and art. Nature invites wonder, confidence, and imagination, and encourages children to care for the world around them.
Indoor Gym
Our indoor gym ensures children enjoy daily gross-motor play no matter the weather. This safe, open space allows kids to run, jump, climb, and practice coordination without classroom limitations. Consistent physical activity supports healthy development, emotional regulation, and a productive learning day, giving children an outlet to move their bodies and build their strength.
Children’s Library
Our dedicated children’s library gives families, teachers, and students a quiet, welcoming space to explore a wide variety of books. Regular access to engaging stories builds early literacy, expands vocabulary, and strengthens communication skills. With topics that connect to every area of learning, from science to art to early math, the library helps children discover new interests while nurturing a lifelong love for reading.

Classroom Parties
From Valentine’s Day to St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween, we bring holidays to life through crafts, games, and connection.
Special Attire Days
From Wacky Hair Day to Rodeo Week, we make learning fun with themed dress-up days tied to events, holidays, and weekly lessons.
Fun Within the Community
Through special visits from community helpers and local professionals, children get to learn about the world around them.
These experiences help children connect what they learn in class to the world around them, building confidence and compassion with every adventure.
Drop-In Care
Juggling work, appointments, school schedules, and the unexpected is simply part of family life, so we created a childcare option that moves with you. Our Drop-In Care program offers dependable, educational support for potty-trained children ages 2.5 and up, available exactly when you need it.
Whether you’re facing a last-minute meeting, a schedule change, or need a few hours of trusted care, just give us a call and bring your child in. There’s no weekly commitment, no long-term reservation, and no need to plan weeks ahead.
